Fiera Milano Rho
About the destination
Fiera Milano Rho is one of the largest exhibition centres in Europe, designed by Massimiliano Fuksas and opened in 2005 on the north-western edge of Milan, with a glass-and-steel canopy running the length of its central walkway. It hosts the Salone del Mobile in April, EICMA, the motorcycle show, in November, and MICAM footwear in February and September, among many other trade fairs. During the biggest shows hotels near the fair fill early and many visitors stay in the city centre or elsewhere in the metropolitan area, which makes reliable transfers part of the planning. The site has its own metro and railway station, Rho Fiera, and the MIND district, on the former Expo 2015 grounds, lies right next door.
