About the destination
Bellagio sits on the tip of the promontory where Lake Como splits into its Como and Lecco branches, which is why it looks out over three stretches of water at once. The village climbs from the lakefront in stepped lanes such as Salita Serbelloni, lined with shops and small trattorias. Above them stands the park of Villa Serbelloni, now home to the Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Center and open on guided tours in season, while the gardens of Villa Melzi, laid out in the early 19th century, run along the shore towards San Giovanni. The Romanesque basilica of San Giacomo and the viewpoint at Punta Spartivento complete the picture. From the piers, passenger boats and the car ferry cross to Varenna, Menaggio and Cadenabbia.

Road, traffic and timing
From Linate the transfer heads north through the Brianza towards Lecco, then follows the provincial road along the western shore of the Lecco branch up to Bellagio. Distance 75 km, about 75 minutes in normal traffic. The final section is a narrow, winding lakeside road. Any tolls are included in the fixed price.
