Fiera Milano Rho
Milan's trade-fair district
Salone del Mobile, EICMA and the big international shows.
Fiera Milano Rho is Milan's exhibition centre, opened in 2005 on the site of a former refinery north-west of the city and designed by Massimiliano Fuksas, with the great undulating glass-and-steel canopy running through the complex. It hosts the Salone del Mobile in April, EICMA in November and dozens of trade shows. It is served by metro line M1 and Rho Fiera railway station, but on peak days what counts is the arrival: a car that drops you at the right entrance, 35 minutes from Malpensa and half an hour from Linate.

What to see
- The Salone del Mobile in April, the busiest week of Milan's year.
- EICMA, the international motorcycle show, in November.

Practical tips
- The centre has several entrances (East Gate, West Gate, South Gate…): tell us the one closest to your hall when you book.
- During the big fairs hotels and cars sell out early: book your transfer when you book your stay.
